How Do I Fit the Lug Bumpers?

If you already have a strap attached to your camera, remove it, then place the lug bumper over the eyelet/lug, then thread the split ring of the strap back onto the eyelet. Fitting a strap with a bumper in place is always a bit fiddly, but once you've got it fitted it shouldn't need to be removed, so hopefully it's just a job you'll need to do once.

The animal leather bumpers are around 2.5-3mm thick. This is quite thick, which does make it a little harder to fit than most lug bumpers, but they been usable on all the cameras I've tested the bumpers on, so I think having a thicker bumper should provide a bit more protection and also a longer lasting product. The vegan leather option is a bit over 1mm thick and very flexible so will go on much easier if you are worried about fitting the bumpers.

Animal Leather

Made from leather offcuts from our strap production (and other leather samples). Each pair is unique in grain and finish.

Vegan leather

This vegan leather is "Oleatex", which is a next-gen material derived from waste in the production of olive oil. The vegan leather contains 90-95% bio-content and is produced in Turkey. It's flexible but strong, and I think it's a good, long-lasting material for a lug bumper.
