Brown Leather Camera Strap by Cam-in

• High quality leather camera strap suitable for DSLRs and similar sized cameras made by Cam-in.
• The smooth leather finish is quite soft to start with but will become more supple over time with wear.
• A great upgrade from standard straps supplied with cameras, giving a classic look to your kit.
• Approximate dimensions: 143cm maximum total length, 41cm each end for connection (1cm wide, like a standard strap), leather section 70cm long, 3cm wide, 2mm thick.
• Main body of the strap and the end triangles are made of leather, but for durability and ease of use the section that connects to the camera is made from acrylic.

Will this strap fit my camera?

This strap will fit most cameras. It is a "flat mount" connection strap which loops onto a flat bar connection on your camera. If your camera has small metal lugs that a ring or triangular split ring attached to you just thread the flat mount through the ring. The strap comes with a set of split rings which are compatible with the vast majority of camera lugs, and a couple of little leather backing tabs to put between the camera and ring to prevent any scratching of the camera body. Is this strap strong enough for my camera?

I test every strap to carry 10kg, and this one showed no issues carrying that amount. I use 10kg as an upper limit because that's considerably more than the majority of camera setups weigh even with a big, heavy lens. In terms of comfort, every person is different but I recommend up to 2.5kg with a 3cm wide camera strap, which covers the majority of setups. If you're looking to regularly carry more than that a thicker or wider strap may provide more comfort.
