The Rough Cut prism is lightweight, easy to handle, and makes you look a bit like a wizard (always a plus). It makes prism photography fun, easy, and produces unique effects that you and your clients are going to love. Just to be clear, the actual glass is lovely and smooth, but a friend thought it's shape reminded her of an irregularly cut diamond, and she christened this prism the "rough cut prism pop" and I loved the name!

Like most prism photography products, it works best at focal lengths traditionally used for portraits (typically 50mm and longer) and wide apertures. You simply hold the glass part of the wand in front of your lens and move the prism around until you have a composition that you like. The multi-faceted glass creates unpredictable reflections, flares, and aberrations in your image, with each twist and turn creating a different unique effect for your photos that can't be truly recreated in post-processing.
