Comments & Notes

This strap has been tested to carry 10kg with no damage or deformation to the strap. We stopped testing after that as it is unlikely that anyone will carry a setup of over 10kg with a strap of this style, but it is likey to be able to carry much more before failure. With a 9mm wide rope strap I believe it will be comfortable with most standard camera setups. If you are planning on regularly carrying large, heavy lenses then I would recommend looking for something flat and wide to help spread the weight of the camera and lens over a wider area on your neck/shoulder.

The usable range of this strap can be adjusted from around 80cm to 135cm. This means that when used at the longer end of this range it will be sutiable for cross-body wear (sling style) on most people. At the shorter end towards 80cm you're likely to have quite a lot of the connection straps flapping around, so if you intend on keeping it that short long term then it would be recommened to cut those ends so that it will be less annoying.
