This strap is well suited to a rangefinder like a Leica as shown in the images, and is also popular with owners of the Fuji X range of cameras. It is not suitable for most modern DSLRs that have the flat metal bar connection and requires a lug for the ring to attach to. This width of strap would also not be comfortable on your neck with the weight of a DSLR and is more appropriate for lightweight setups.
