Moistureproof Filter Case by JJC for 37mm to 55mm Filters

Living in the Lake District, I'm more than used to getting caught out by a rain shower when I'm taking photos, so when I saw these moistureproof filter cases from JJC I knew they'd be a great addition to the lineup. This version is suitable for filters that are 37mm to 55mm wide, and the case can take filters that are up to 8mm thick. They're also useful for long term storage of filters if you're concerned about damp casuing mould to develop on your glass.

What comes in the package?

• 1 Moistureproof Filter Case: 70mm × 78mm × 18mm
• 10 packs of desiccant silica gel
• 1 sheet of moistureproof interleaving paper
• 6 pieces 1mm-thick sponge pads
• 7 pieces o-ring gaskets of 37mm, 40.5mm, 43mm, 46mm, 49mm, 52mm and 55mm

How to use the filter case

Depending on the thickness of your filter, put a few of the sponge pads in the bottom of the case, and then add the moistureproof interleaving paper on top of it, then add the filter itself, and top it with the appropriate o-ring gasket. You can now close up the case. If it's too tight or loose you may need to add/remove a sponge pad until you get a nice and tight seal. Don't forget to add a silica desiccant pack to the inside of the lid.
