Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue are a team of highly experienced volunteers who come from all walks of life, united in their love of mountains and their wish to help fellow mountaineers in trouble. The team typically attend around 100 calls each year, responding at all times of the day and night.
2020 is the team's 50th anniversary year and you can celebrate with the team by playing Rescue Team Trumps. Characters from the team share some of their tips for having an enjoyable and safe day on the Cumbrian hills. Learn about their favourite mountains and snack of choice as you play against each other to have the winning card. Who will your favourite be?
Rescue Team Trump cards feature a caricature, a list of items including Years of Service, Rescue Skill, Rescue Snack, Favourite Mountain, a Safety Tip and scores for each. The aim of the game is to compare these scores to try to trump and win your opponent's card.
Each pack contains 41 playing cards and a rules card. All proceeds from their sale go to support LAMRT in their mission to help the lost, sick, injured and distressed from the mountain and rural environment. For more information about the team visit lamrt.org.uk
