Lug Bumpers - (Not by) Simplr

*IMPORTANT NOTE* These bumpers have not been imported from Simplr in the US. JP from Simplr and I agreed that it was a little silly to have to import them from the US, when it's possible to source the bumpers from a UK manufacturer (and keep the price a little lower for customers). We've worked together to ensure that the material is the same. They are being labelled as a Simplr product just because people have been asking about Simplr lug bumpers, and this way they're easier to find amongst their other products.

In terms of sizing, the small size is the exact same size as Simplr's version, but the standard is size I stock is ever-so-slightly smaller (due to differences with metric/imperial sizing). The difference for the internal diameter is 0.09mm, and it's 0.12mm thinner, but these differences are so small I don't think they'll make much of a difference to your usage.

Simplr camera straps are designed to minimize wear around camera lugs, with small split rings, mostly covered by webbing — so you probably don’t need these — but if you’re obsessive about the condition of your cameras, and want a little extra protection without extra bulk, give ’em a try.

Not your standard hardware-store rubber O-rings, which harden and crack when exposed to sun and oxygen, these are made from fluoropolymer elastomer which stands up to the elements. Just place them around your camera lugs before installing a strap (like Simplr's F1 or F1ultralight).

Which size should I choose?

The standard size is appropriate for the majority of cameras, the small size work nicely with the Fuji X100 range as they have a slightly smaller lugs than usual. If you aren't sure which is right for you, it might make more sense to spend the bit extra and get the mixed pack so you have both sizes to try out.
