Aura filter by Spektrem Effects

Aura is Spektrem Effects first ever filter designed for macro use. It's unusual shape gives a sharp focus on your subject and creates a beautiful warped halo around it for a dreamy look.

Whilst being designed with macro photography as it's primary use, like all creative filters you shouldn't feel constrained by the designer's intentions; you can get some really interesting portraits with the filter and it can even have it's uses in landscape photography. I've used this filter free-hand in front of my Fuji X100F and even my phone camera to great effect, but for best results I recommend screwing it onto the lens.

• 58/67/72/77/82mm sized screw in filter.
• This filter can rotate on it's ring when attached to the lens. This is a somewhat redundant feature as the filter is symmetrical and the effect does not change with rotation.
• Due to the protruding front of the glass you cannot stack a filter in front of the Aura filter.
• Supplied with a protective, padded pouch and a lens cloth.
• Filter weight 106g (77mm version)

Need a step up ring to get a filter to work with your lens? Add some to your order here. Please consider how using this filter with a different sized lens will affect the image. For example, on a longer focal length with a 49mm filter thread lens the "normal" section of the image is going to be larger than in the sample photos with less warping. This can be good or bad depending on the kind of shots you want to take, but mostly I want you to be aware that the physical size of the lens can have an impact just as much as the focal length.
